Companion Planting!
Join us at Beauty’s Community Garden, Sunday, November 14, from 2:45-4pm, for this free hour, 15min, hands-on workshop, introducing the basics of companion planting, and the necessary skills to be successful in desiging and growing your own vegetable beds.
Philippa Johnstone, Beauty’s Community Garden’s instructor, and certified permaculturalist, will also give a live demonstraton, where you will have the opportunity to get hands on experience into high density planting.
You ‘ll learn the unique value and benefits each companion plant brings to its plant friends, like being a protector or a nourishing plant.
AND you’ll get timely information on specific crop care for the late fall early winter season.

What you should bring: Your own water and refreshments and gloves (if you have them.)
