SUMMARY:7th Annual MLK PEACE through PIE Community Event & Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Join us for \nBeauty’s Community Garden’s 7th Annual MLK PEACE through PIE Community Event & Fundraiser\, where we continue the focus on celebrating the work of Dr. King’s legacy toward a harmonious place at the table for all.  This year’s theme is pulled from one of his quotes\, “Intelligence plus character–that is the goal of true education.” \nThis event jumpstarts Beauty’s Community Garden’s funding campaign that runs until February 28th.  All funds raised help to support our year-round programs. \nAttendees will enjoy entertainment\, free food\, pie stories\, pie sampling\, and chances to vote on the best pies. Also included are chances to win prizes\, receive giveaways\, and attend two sessions of Garden and Healthy Cooking Workshops–Spanish translators are available for some workshops (listed below).  \n\n\n\nDATE: Saturday\, January 14th 2023\nTIME: 10am-12:30pm\nATTENDANCE: Open to the public – Students\, Families\, Administrators\, Community Members\, and Business\nLOCATION: Frank Black Middle School\, 1575 Chantilly Ln.
