DESCRIPTION:Diseases and Insects!\nCultivating Good Bacteria and Friendly Bugs\n\nJoin us at Beauty’s Community Garden\, Saturday\, November 5\, 2022\, from 10am-11am for this free hour workshop. We will examine the causes\, symptoms\, and preventive measures of vegetable diseases and disorders keeping our plants healthy\, and detect helpful and harmful insects of our garden. \nThis workshop supplies materials necessary to create the garden (container\, soil\, seeds or plants\, fertilizer\, etc. ) Texas A&M University Garden Course funded\, in part\, by the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). \nSession will Include: \n\nExamination of vegetable disease and disorders causes and symptoms\nExamination of  prevention and treatment methods of vegetable diseases and disorders\nIdentification of beneficial and harmful insects of a garden.\n\nWorkshop Details: \n\nWHEN: Saturday\, November 5\, 2022\nTIME: 10am – 11am\nWHERE: Beauty’s Community Garden:  3201 Airline Dr. Houston\, TX 77022\nRSVP: Limited Capacity and Space\, so please RSVP.\nADMISSION: Open to ages 18 on up\nCOST: FREE (Optional:**Donations in Support of Beauty’s Community Garden Programs are accepted.**)\nCOVID-19: Masks are encouraged; If not on hand\, masks will be provided.
